Public Works
The Public Works Department of the Borough of Carlisle is responsible for providing essential public services such as roadway construction & maintenance, traffic control, street cleaning, street lighting, parking lot & garage maintenance, traffic control, compost facility operation, and building maintenance. The Public Works Department is also responsible for the Borough’s entire fleet maintenance. Public Works is also responsible for pedestrian curb ramps, as well as the Borough’s Curb & Sidewalk Inspection Programs.
