Ridge Street Lane Shifts
The pumping station located near the intersection of South Pitt Street and Ridge Street is undergoing upgrades to provide additional capacity to South Middleton Township.
As part of the project, a parallel force main is being constructed adjacent to the Borough's existing force main from the Ridge Street Pumping Station to the Borough's downstream receiving interceptor sewer on South Spring Garden Street. Road work is planned along West Ridge Street towards Hanover Street, continuing to Bedford Street and Highland Street.
There will be lane shifts when work crosses South Hanover Street. Weather permitting, crews will be crossing Hanover starting Tuesday, January 23. Please be alert for these lane shifts.
