Compost Site Opens for the Season!
The Borough's Post Road Compost Facility opens for the season on Wednesday, March 27!
The hours for the spring/summer seasons will be:
Wednesdays: Noon to 8:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The facility is closed on all federal holidays.
The Compost Facility is a popular place! In 2023, there were almost 10,000 visits to the site. For those unfamiliar, the site is available for Borough residents to access free of charge. You can unload leaf and brush waste and our crews will compost those materials, creating mulch. The mulch is available for free to residents. Please be sure to bring your ID with you when visiting the site.
